What's in the tufting starter set?
The set contains the AK-DUO PRO with a deluxe storage case, three sheets of primary tufting cloth in the size you choose (from 1 x 1 to 2.1 x 2.1 metres) and a wooden tufting frame with gripper strips. By default, that's the 90 x 90 cm tabletop frame. That gives you everything for tufting except wool, which you choose from the tufting wool collection.
What can I choose in the starter set?
You choose the colour of the tufting gun: yellow, blue, pink, pastel blue or black. And you choose the frame: the 90 x 90 cm tabletop frame, or a standing frame of 90 x 90, 140 x 90 or 140 x 140 cm. Is the starter set cheaper than buying everything separately?

What else do I need besides the starter set?
To tuft, you still need tufting wool. For finishing, you add latex glue and secondary cloth, so the yarns are locked in place and your rug gets a neat back. A tufting trimmer or duckbill scissors are handy for levelling the pile. You'll find everything for that under trimming and cutting.
